Our standard
We aim to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1, Level AA. Steps we take include:
- Text alternatives (alt text) for meaningful images
- Text color contrast of at least 4.5:1
- Full keyboard navigation with a visible focus indicator
- Labeled form fields and clear error messages
- A logical heading structure and descriptive link text
- Captions on videos and no autoplaying media
- Layouts that work when zoomed to 200%
- The page language set in the code
We test pages with automated tools (such as WAVE and Lighthouse) and manual keyboard checks.
Third-party content
Some links, such as “Search homes on Compass,” take you to Compass.com or other websites we do not control. We cannot guarantee the accessibility of those sites.
